Ready to hand over government leadership: PM Deuba
Kathmandu, Dec 30 / Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said he was eager to hand over the government leadership.
Addressing a function organized on the occasion of the Tamu Lhoshar in the capital city Saturday, PM Deuba made it clear that he was not willing to occupy the post as blamed by other parties. “It is not good to doubt Nepali Congress bearing democratic history and leading every movement and the constitution promulgation in the country,” he reminded.
The PM thanked President Bhandari for paving way f0r formation of government by authenticating the ordinance.
On the occasion, CPN (Maoist Centre) leader Narayan Kaji Shrestha said with the constitution getting implemented by the recent elections, time has come for prospering the country with special focus on economy.
Parbat Gurung of the CPN-UML underscored the need to ensure participation of indigenous people in the State mechanism.
Lhoshar is celebrated as New Year by the Gurung (Tamu) community across the country.RSS
