Kaski, Oct 29 : Pokhara Paltan and Hulas Kathmandu Royals won their respective match today under the Pokhara Premier League (PPL) underway in Pokhara from October 26.
The home team Pokhara Paltan defeated Chitwan Rhions by five wickets. This is second victory registered by Pokhara Paltan in this championship.
Batting first, Chitwan Rhinos had scored 140 runs in 20 overs at the loss of five wickets. Chasing the victory target of 141 runs, Pokhara Paltan made it through in 17.2 overs.
Similarly, Hulas Kathmandu Royals won the match against Biratnagar Titans by five wickets. Chasing the target of 150 runs posted by Biratnagar Titans, Kathmandu Royals surpassed it in the second ball of the last over.
Biratnagar Titans had scored 149 runs losing seven wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.(RSS)
