Kaski, Oct 31 : Biratnagar Titans defeated Butwal Blasters by 12 runs in its first match under the Pokhara Premier League underway in Kaski. Likewise, Chitwan Rhinos beat Expert Dhangadhi Blues by 126 runs in another match.
Elected to bat first after winning the toss, Biratnagar Titans made 140 runs in 20 overs with the loss of seven wickets. In the 141 runs target chase, Butwal Blasters was sent packing for 128 runs losing all wickets.
For Biratnagar Titan, Kishwor Mahato’s last-over maiden led to its victory. He took two wickets. Muhammad Alam made 72 runs with five sixes and six boundaries.
Likewise, Chitwan Rhinos made 193 runs in 20 overs at the loss of five wickets. Chasing the target of 194 runs, Expert Dhangadhi Blues was restricted to only 67 in 16 overs losing all wickets. (RSS)
